DIY tips - Why we do it

As business one of our main purposes is to help people, whether it is a landlord, tenant or property manager to keep there houses in good shape.

The Financial Factor

Nothing worse than for a landlord or tenant to be forking out extra cash for a bond clean that can be avoided.

I'm fairly certain landlords don't like having to repaint damaged paint work, or replacing shower screens because they were never kept clean, especially the harshness of the water here in Tamworth is not the greatest and can cause permeant damage to showers.

The Accountability Factor

Who is ultimately responsible?

This maybe a little controversial but ultimately it rests on the property managers.

Like any manager, they are reasonable, like I'm responsible if anyone under my watch or care doesn't do there job properly, than its on me, not them, and if I personally don't do my job properly than its on me.

We as cleaners can only do so much to get it clean, after a certain point we will most likely damage the item to try and get it clean.

We will actually leave items if we are concerned we may damage it, I doubt anyone likes taking responsibility for something they knew that will damage or not work if they go any further.

We are intentional about leaving items we are concerned about and raising that concern to property managers.

We Are All In It Together

Ultimately we are all in it together, cleaners, property managers. landlords & Tenants.

We all have a roll to play in the upkeep of the property.

My job is to come up with ways to help facilitate cost affective ways that can help maintain properties as well as cleaning properties, Its the Property Managers & landlords job to enforce it.

If you have any questions or queries, please feel free to get in touch.

If you are a property manager & a landlord and feel our DYI tips can be utilized in your tenancy agreements and factored into rent, get in touch, we are more than happy to help any way we can.
